Collaboration and communication can both be visualised through the connection of points with lines, creating a network of knowledge. Networks, outlines, scaffolds – they are all constructed using lines. A line turns the attention away from the object, the point, towards the relationship between those points. An outline focuses on the idea of an object, how it is perceived and its meaning to the observer. A scaffold is what is providing stability and a framework – literally in natural and industrial production, as well as metaphorically in the form of a belief system. So lines and points are my area of research – in both physical and digital space. "An active line on a walk, moving freely, without a goal. A walk for a walk's sake. The mobility agent is a point, shifting its position forward." — Paul Klee
